AccessJax

Jacksonville, Florida

AccessJax is made up of four partner organizations that include the City of Jacksonville, the Independent Living Resource Center, Hubbard House, and the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. These four entities came together to identify and create sustainable systemic change within each of their organizations that will result in a fully accessible and responsive network for victims of domestic violence with disabilities and Deaf victims of domestic violence, who live in their community.

Our Unique Contribution

By forming a collaboration between government entities, including the local law enforcement agency, and community-based organizations, AccessJax is able to address gaps and barriers throughout the system that exist for victims with disabilities and Deaf victims.
