Project SAFE

Hauppauge, New York

Project SAFE is a collaboration between the Victims Information Bureau of Suffolk (VIBS), Family Violence and Rape Crisis Center and United Cerebral Palsy Association of Greater Suffolk Inc.  The collaboration is working to promote a safe, accessible and responsive service environment for women in Suffolk County who are survivors of domestic and sexual violence with a physical and/or developmental disability.

Our Unique Contribution

Project SAFE has created training curricula and a number of policies and procedures to help guide staff at the partner agencies in addressing violence and abuse of people with disabilities.
