Idaho Change Initiative

Boise, Idaho

The Idaho Change Initiative (ICI) is a collaboration of the Idaho Coalition Against Sexual & Domestic Violence (Idaho Coalition) and the State Independent Living Council (SILC).  The vision of ICI is that individuals with disabilities will have full accessibility to programs and services related to domestic violence, stalking and sexual violence.

Our Unique Contribution

Built on a foundation of compassion and self-determination, ICI is integrating disability and inclusion into all of its anti-oppression work.  ICI embraces an organizational culture and behavior that reflects the importance of working at the intersection of gender-based violence and disability.  They provide opportunities for each organization to explore the intersection of disability and gender-based violence through a series for experiential learning opportunities.
