Washington State-Sexual Assault Response Project

Seattle, Washington

The Washington State-Sexual Assault Response Project is a collaboration between Disability Rights Washington, the Washington Coalition of Sexual Assault Programs and the Long-term Care Ombudsman Program.  These three organizations came together to address the increased risk of sexual abuse for people with disabilities living in long-term care and who may have a disempowering environment.

Our Unique Contributions

The Washington State-Sexual Assault Response Project is working to enhance the response to violence and abuse within long-term care environments and to better support individuals within these environments who have experienced sexual violence.
