Depending on what type of outreach work you had been doing, some MAY be transferable to online platforms. If, for example, your outreach work was to go to a community health center and provide a formal or informal presentation to clients/people who may have experienced violence, you could potentially offer a Facebook Live event (through your agency’s Facebook page), where you could share the information you would normally do in outreach in person. This can create some safety risks if you are wanting to engage with people and have dialogue. You could also do some recorded PSAs (public service announcements) to share the information you might be offering when in-person. Those PSAs could be posted on your organization’s website, on social media, or if you have a text output method, via text.
