How can funders best support programs? 

Council on Foundations has some good articles available and webinars to help answer this question. Flexibility of current funding is important. Maintaining upcoming grant processes and clarity on what will be available in the future is helpful too. As much as possible, add to the funding pool, rather than funding projects now and reducing funding in future grant rounds. Support general operating needs as much as possible. For more information:
